Joel 2:20

SV	En Ik zal dien van het noorden verre van ulieden doen vertrekken, en hem wegdrijven in een dor en woest land, zijn aangezicht naar de Oostzee, en zijn einde naar de achterste zee; en zijn stank zal opgaan, en zijn vuiligheid zal opgaan; want hij heeft grote dingen gedaan.
WLC	וְֽאֶת־הַצְּפֹונִ֞י אַרְחִ֣יק מֵעֲלֵיכֶ֗ם וְהִדַּחְתִּיו֮ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֣ה וּשְׁמָמָה֒ אֶת־פָּנָ֗יו אֶל־הַיָּם֙ הַקַּדְמֹנִ֔י וְסֹפֹ֖ו אֶל־הַיָּ֣ם הָאַֽחֲרֹ֑ון וְעָלָ֣ה בָאְשֹׁ֗ו וְתַ֙עַל֙ צַחֲנָתֹ֔ו כִּ֥י הִגְדִּ֖יל לַעֲשֹֽׂות׃
Trans.	wə’eṯ-haṣṣəfwōnî ’arəḥîq mē‘ălêḵem wəhid^aḥətîw ’el-’ereṣ ṣîyâ ûšəmāmâ ’eṯ-pānāyw ’el-hayyām haqqaḏəmōnî wəsōfwō ’el-hayyām hā’^aḥărwōn wə‘ālâ ḇā’əšwō wəṯ^a‘al ṣ^aḥănāṯwō kî hiḡədîl l^a‘ăśwōṯ:

AC	כ ואת הצפוני ארחיק מעליכם והדחתיו אל ארץ ציה ושממה--את פניו אל הים הקדמני וספו אל הים האחרון ועלה באשו ותעל צחנתו--כי הגדיל לעשות
ASV	but I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, its forepart into the eastern sea, and its hinder part into the western sea; and its stench shall come up, and its ill savor shall come up, because it hath done great things.
BE	I will send the one from the north far away from you, driving him into a dry and waste land, with his front to the sea of the east and his back to the sea of the west, and the smell of him will go up, even his evil smell will go up.
Darby	And I will remove far off from you him [that cometh] from the north, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, his face toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the hinder sea; and his stench shall come up, and his ill odour shall come up, for he hath exalted himself to do great things.
ELB05	Und ich werde den von Norden Kommenden von euch entfernen und ihn in ein dürres und wüstes Land vertreiben, seinen Vortrab in das vordere Meer und seinen Nachtrab in das hintere Meer; und sein Gestank wird aufsteigen, und aufsteigen sein übler Geruch, weil er Großes getan hat.
LSG	J'éloignerai de vous l'ennemi du nord, Je le chasserai vers une terre aride et déserte, Son avant-garde dans la mer orientale, Son arrière-garde dans la mer occidentale; Et son infection se répandra, Sa puanteur s'élèvera dans les airs, Parce qu'il a fait de grandes choses.
Sch	sondern ich will den von Norden Kommenden ferne von euch treiben und ihn verstoßen in ein dürres und wüstes Land, seinen Vortrab ins östliche Meer und seine Nachhut ins westliche Meer, und sein Gestank soll aufsteigen und sein Modergeruch sich erheben; denn er hat großgetan!
Web	But I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face towards the east sea, and his hinder part towards the utmost sea, and his odious scent shall come up, and his ill savor shall come up, because he hath done great things.
